(new window) System Announcements Faculty - Course Availability and Enrolling Users (Thursday, October 10, 2019) Course Availability Faculty control when courses are available to students. There is a new, easy way for instructors to make their courses available or unavailable to students: One the course's Home Page, click the padlock icon in the top-right area. A course may also be made available via the control panel in the left course navigation pane: Control Panel > Customization > Properties > set Make Course Available to Yes and click/press Submit at the bottom. Please see the Course Setup Checklist in your course navigation for more details about course setup. Please contact bbhelp@stthom.edu with any questions or concerns. Enrolling Users There is a new procedure for adding Student or Teaching Assistant users in your courses, following our migration of UST Blackboard to a Cloud-based system. Please see this Faculty Tutorial on Enrolling Users for illustrated instructions. Students - Can't Find Your Course? (Monday, August 19, 2019) Courses are made available by your instructor when they are ready to release it. Please contact your instructors for information about Blackboard course availability. You may also need to verify your enrollment status with the Registrar if the instructor has already made the course available. Also, please keep in mind that it may take up to 2 business days for enrollment changes to process into Blackboard. Welcome to Blackboard @ UST: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! On Sunday, April 25th , the University will be implementing the Celt Login Authentication System (CLAS) . The Celt Login Authentication System will allow users to login to a variety of online services at UST including myStThom, Blackboard, Webmail, and off campus Library services with a single username and password for all CLAS enabled systems. Your username will be referred to as your Celt Login ID . Faculty and staff will also use their Celt Login ID to access the UST network and Outlook Web Access (OWA). You will be required to activate your Celt Login ID only once so that you can create your new secure account profile. You will able to activate your Celt Login ID after 6:00PM on Sunday, April 25th . Once activated, you may use your Celt Login ID and password to login to any UST online service where you see the CLAS logo. If you are a current or returning user, please note that your current username and Celt Login ID will be identical; however, you are still required to activate your Celt Login ID and choose a new password. For information see the Celt Login Authentication System information page . -- In order to login, simply use your Celt Login ID and password. If you are new to UST, activate your Celt Login ID today!
